Kelliwik Golowi – November 2025
Kelliwik Golowi 25 will return to the streets of Callington on 15th of November 2025. Lighting up the streets of Callington. This event is the perfect start to the winter season in the run up to Christmas. This will be the 3rd year of Kelliwik Golowi.
what is Kelliwik Golowi ?
Golowi translates to enlightenment, illuminate, light up, lighten, shine in Cornish and of course Kelliwik is the Cornish for Callington. So put together is light up Callington. Kelliwik Golowi feature acts from local groups and some from farther away. Performances include fire entrainment, belly dancers, morris dancers and lots more. There really is something for everyone, this event is growing each year and I am excited to see this year’s. In the run up to the event there are various workshops around the town.
Workshops
Various workshops are held before the event. It’s a great way to get involved before the main event. To find out more check out the main Facebook page.
Food & Drink
So many options, New this year food venders will be based on Fore street right by the action, Ales & tails will be serving drinks from Fore street, then you have Lost surfers cocktail café serving up drinks and meals. Cali pizza For the best pizza’s in town, you have the Bulls head pub for a pint and a snack. Castle chicken as well as many others..
Where is Kelliwik Golowi held?
Set in Fore street in Callington town centre, For parking we would recommend getting in town early and using one of the three carparks. The free park usually has plenty of space, only a short walk away at is at the start of the parade route.
I almost forgot to say Kelliwik Golowi 25 is a FREE event. No cost to enter and watch, a donation bucket is available with money going to local causes, should you wish to give a little.
