Callington repair Café
What is a Repair Café?
A Repair Cafe is a community-based event where people can bring broken items (like electronics, clothing, furniture, etc.) to be repaired by volunteer fixers, often for free. It’s a place for skill-sharing, community building, and reducing waste by extending the life of household items.
It’s a free meeting place where people can get together to:
- alter or mend clothes
- fix broken furniture, electrical gadgets, bikes, toys, crockery and more
The Callington Repair Cafe is a part of the Cornwall Repair Cafe Network and is active in promoting repair and reuse within the local community. They hold events where people can bring items for repair and participate in a friendly, hands-on experience.
