My thoughts on the Hyundai HYBC5080AV
i purchased this brush cutter direct from Hyundai, the price is very good especially when you compare it it Stihl. Although the machine feels very capable the included accessories do not.
Included with the machine you have two blades, a line spool, a tool kit, fuel mixing, harness, helmet, and a pair of ear defenders. The blades are really thin and are easily damaged, the line spool although it is tough plastic the included line is so thin you will struggle cutting anything more than grass.
The helmet, ear defenders and harness, all have problems one of the ear muffs fell off with in an hour of use. The harness survived the first job but only just.
On my first job with this machine I was cutting very thick brush than has not been cut for a long time. So went for the tri blade. This worked very well and credit goes to the machine, but this hard work with the included harness was so frustrating. I usually use a Stihl brush cutter with a Stihl harness. Which after a few adjustments makes the work so easy. The Hyundai harness is no comparison you set it up, then while working it comes loose, this harness also struggles to carry weight very well.

Harness
I would recommend getting a better harness if you purchase this machine, the included one is only suitable for small jobs. Even than you will find it soon gets on your nerves.
Blades
The included blades did a good job. But after my first job I have one damaged blade and one very dull blade. Again I would recommand a different set of blades.
Line spool
The included line spool is a bump head and holds 2.5 mm round line, it does work. But snaps very quick. I would recommand getting a better line spool for this machine.
Final thoughts
This petrol Hyundai Brush cutter is an amazing machine but left down with the included accessories, but by swapping out the weak parts makes this an ideal buy. Some other things I like about this machine are the fact that the brush cutter shaft can disconnect in the middle. This will make it handy for anyone who has a small van or even for putting in the car boot. I also like the fact the Hyundai sell spare parts for this machine at a really reasonable price unlike a lot of equipment makes that sting you on spares.
The engine feels solid like the rest of the machine and after using for a few hours, it didn’t miss a beat. It’s the harness that makes the job harder. But I have already address this by getting a Stihl harness that I usually use.
Recommended upgrades
Stihl harness like this one <<LINK>> You will thank me after an hour of working with this harness compared with the one supplied.

Blades I would recommend Oregon blades, I have used these in the past and they really do work very well. They last a long time and will sharpen nicely. For a three point blade I would go for this one <<LINK>> and for a mulching blade I would get this one <<LINK>>

For a upgraded line spool I would this Oregon bump head <<LINK>>, this head takes a maximum line of 4mm with is a massive difference from the included head which takes 2.4mm line as a maximum.
