Local lad Dick Callington wants to seek fame and fortune in the bright lights of London Town. He and his best feline friend leave their old life on the farm and Dick gets a job at a fancy department store, Harvey Knickers. Along the way he makes bold and exciting new friends, and encounters some hairy shoplifters, who threaten to bankrupt the store. Will they take down Harvey Knickers? Can Dick outsmart them? Will Dick find true love with the girl next door?
